Napoleon Pastry Ornament

Napoleon pastry’s French name is mille–feuille, meaning “thousand sheets.” Bakers layer puff pastry and cream to create this taste of delight. The top layer is sprinkled with cocoa, pastry crumbs or sliced almonds to add a slight crunch. Finally, the top of the pastry is decorated to create a beautiful work of food art.
